ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By making the first payment or deposit, you, as the client, acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
SAVING YOUR DATE
In order to book Love from Lydia Alice for your ‘day of’ wedding stationery, a deposit is required to save your date and the relevant design time needed. The deposit of £100 is then deductable from your final invoice. This payment must be paid within the payment terms stated on your invoice; if the payment is not received by this date, Love from Lydia Alice reserves the right to release your date to another client.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
In the unforeseen circumstances whereby your wedding is cancelled, any payments made up until this point are non-refundable. You will not be expected to pay any further instalments and all work will be stopped.
PAYMENT TERMS
All payments are due within 5-7 days of receipt of invoice. To request changes to these terms, please email enquiries@lovefromlydiaalice.com. In most cases, invoices are split into two or three instalments to spread the overall cost.

If an invoice payment has not been received by the due date, a daily fee of £5 will be charged until the total payment has been made. Such delays may also result in longer lead times.
PROOFS & ADJUSTMENTS
Digital proofs are sent for most items of stationery. Please respond to the specific email chain with any requested changes and once approved, your confirmation that you’re happy to proceed. For each item of stationery, you will have up to 3 sets of alterations included as standard before you will then be charged by the hour for any further changes.
It is your responsibility as the client to check through the proofs carefully and thoroughly to ensure all is as you would like it to be; this includes colours, spellings, grammar and all layout. Once you have signed off on your proof, this is then a binding contract of approval. Any further changes requested after sign off, will incur additional charges. If you require changes but your item of stationery has been printed/hand painted/completed, you may be recharged for the entire cost. This will be assessed on a product by product basis.
Proofs are not sent for table place names and hand written envelopes. Once a design has been chosen, it is your responsibility to then supply Love from Lydia Alice with a list ensuring all names and addresses are written correctly and as you would like them.
RELEASE OF STATIONERY
Love from Lydia Alice reserves the right to hold onto all items of stationery until all payments have been made.
COPYRIGHT
Love from Lydia Alice retains copyright on all design work and products produced by Love from Lydia Alice.
POSTAGE & PACKAGING
Before the day stationery will always be packaged appropriately and sent special delivery, in most cases, next day delivery.
If you’re on the day stationery is being posted to you before your wedding date, this will also be sent by courier.
You have 24 hours from receipt of your parcels to notify Love from Lydia Alice of any damage/issues with your stationery. Love from Lydia Alice will always endeavour to rectify any damage issues where possible.
STORAGE OF STATIONERY

It is your responsibility to ensure that your stationery is stored in a suitable condition. Cardstock and boards should be kept in a dry and cool environment. If exposed to damp or very hot conditions, this may affect the overall quality.
WEDDING SET UP
A stationery set up service is available to all clients as an optional extra. The cost ranges from £85 - £125 and depends on the stationery list. For venues further than 45 minutes from the studio, an additional 45p per mile is charged.

Whilst in most cases it will be Lydia setting up your wedding, if due to unforeseen circumstances this is no longer possible, an alternative set up plan will be arranged.
PUBLIC LIABILITY
Love from Lydia Alice has public liability insurance for any damage caused by the stationery, however, does not accept responsibility for any damage caused on your wedding day such as accidental damage by flames, lit candles and drink or food.
PHOTOGRAPHY/SOCIAL MEDIA

Love from Lydia Alice retains the right to photograph all items of stationery and post them to social media accounts unless specifically stated otherwise by the client. This must be stated before the first invoice has been paid. As a rule, save the dates and invitations will not be posted in full view until after the wedding date has passed, only as sneak previews.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS

It is important that you make Love from Lydia Alice aware of the full list of stationery you require for the initial quote phase so that the relevant design time can be secured. If there are additional items you would like to add to your order further down the line, please notify Love from Lydia Alice as soon as possible.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
On initial enquiry we require a certain amount of personal information from you as the clients. This includes an address, email contact and phone number. Love from Lydia Alice will ensure that this information is stored securely and will not sell, rent, lent or disclose this information in any form to any third party other than as may be necessary in order to complete your order. All data held can be deleted upon completion, by request from the client.
